Nino Franco was established in 1919 in the village of Valdobbiadene, just 60 km North of Venice, and not far from the Dolomites. This is the historical heart of production of Prosecco, and the center of the D.o.c.g Prosecco Appellation. Nino Franco is considered internationally like one of the finest producers of Prosecco and he was the first producer of this wine to be able to enter the Michelin Star Restaurants.
Wine Making:
The wine is made through a selection of Glera grapes, coming strictly from the steep hills that sorround the village of Valdobbiadene. After a first fermantion in a stainless steel tanks, the wine goes through a second fermentation in a pressurized tank (Charmat Method), that makes it a Sparkling Wine.
