人氣酒造成位於2007年，距今只有十五年歷史，其前身是一間面臨經營困難的酒造，創辦人遊佐勇人用自有資金收購，並改名人氣酒造重新營運，現由3位資深的杜氏主理，與多位的傑出的日本酒業界專業人員合力打造銘柄「人氣一」。 名字「人氣一」的由來，是因為遊佐家裡有一個品牌名叫「人氣」，他們繼承了這個名字，但是算姓名後發現筆劃十二劃是凶，所以藏元替品牌名稱加上「一」字，就成了「人氣一」，有著人之氣傾注釀造工藝、專心一致於追求品質等深層意義。 人氣酒造的特色是「創新」和「木桶」。遊佐先生除了追求美味、純正的酒質之外，也希望旗下生產的並非傳統的酒，而是全新的酒，包括透過木桶釀造出擁有複雜味道的清酒。藏元又希望打破傳統清酒的刻版形象，聘請設計師重新構設計酒標，更商請日本知名的書法家紫舟大師揮毫設計人氣一的Logo，為銘柄建立鮮明形象。
