Lima Mayer is a family project driven by passion with great dedication to make the best quality wine. The wines are produced at Quinta de São Sebastião in Monforte, which was one of the most traditional and prestigious agricultural houses of the Alto Alentejo. Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Alicante Boushet and Aragonez, a magnificent selection of the best varieties from Iberia and France are planted in distinct blocks in accordance with variations in the slope. The coarseness of the soils, the scarcity of water and the range of temperature between day and night all reduce the yield per hectare; but nature gives in compensation and increases the quality of the fruit, with intense aromas and tastes so fundamental to the production of good wine.
