Domaine Leroy
Labeled by Parker as one of the World’s Greatest Wine Estate. In Robert Parker’s 20th anniversary issue of The Wine Advocate, he said, “the controversial (owner, Madame) Lalou Bize-Leroy must drive many Burgundians crazy given the extraordinary quality of her wines, and the high prices they fetch. She is an uncompromising winemaker, with a portfolio of red and white burgundies that qualitatively have no peers.” The great house of Leroy holds significant amount of inventory of historic bottles. Therefore, each year they would select a range of aged and mature red and white wines to release to their distributor around the world. Having been kept in their cold and damp cellar, the condition of these old wines is of course pristine. Upon release, each bottle will be given a new capsule and label which make its appearance even more attractive. Below you will find a selection of Leroy’s wines from Grands Crus, Premier Crus and Villages appellations stretching from 2007 back to 1969.
