Description:
In 2014, the Sauvignon Blanc for Te Koko was sourced from some of our oldest vines across four distinguished vineyards producing grapes with high concentration and elegant, pure-fruited aromatics.
Tightly focussed with a taut entry. The finish is an amalgamation of nectarine, glacé fruit and a subtle smoky oak complexity. Floral characters linger in the background.

Cloudy Bay winery was established in 1985 by David Hohnen, the founder of Margaret River winery Cape Mentelle Vineyards. Cloudy Bay’s 140 hectares (350 acres) of vineyards are located at three sites in the winegrowing region of Marlborough, including areas close to the bay for which they are named. The region is noted for its production of Sauvignon blanc wines.[2] The vines are planted on deep alluvial gravels. Five long-term contract growers also work closely with Cloudy Bay. Cloudy Bay produces Chardonnay and Pinot noir wines, but the Sauvignon blanc remains its standard-bearer.
