Deep amber color with golden hinges. Rich bouquet of dried fruit, fig and prune. Intense aroma of chocolate with rounded, well-balanced spicy notes. Maturation in oak barrels, providing a long and smooth finish. This wine has been made from the famous white grape variety of Muscat, grown exclusively in Château Mukhrani vineyards, where it finds the best conditions to express its full flavor at full maturity, giving an unforgettable liqueur wine. Best enjoyed with nuts, dried fruit and Georgian Churchkhela. The wine is an unforgettable dessert complement.
Winery:
The history of winemaking at Château Mukhrani started in 1878 with its first vintage. It was Ivane Mukhranbatoni, a descendant of the Bagrationi Royal Family, who, after returning home from France where he learnt about the fine art of winemaking in the Bordeaux and Champagne regions, decided to introduce the concept of a Château in Georgia. He implemented contemporary winemaking methods and started producing wonderful Georgian wines on the ancestral Mukhrani Estate. The combination of local traditions and new techniques revolutionized the quality of Georgian wine. Since 1878, this outstanding quality has been highly acclaimed and won many international awards. Château Mukhrani has become renowned around the world for its splendid Château, underground cellars, wonderful gardens and pristine vineyards.
