The Mesa winery was born from a recent dream, in fact it was founded in 2004 but in this short period of time it has managed to create a series of exceptional wines, which have become famous in Italy and in the world. Its success is primarily due to the values ​​hidden behind the dark glass of each individual bottle: Mesa in Sardinian means 'table' or 'desco' and is based on the essence of the banquet, the family and the simplicity that was founded this winery . The greatness and importance of Mesa is also due to the Sardinian territory, extraordinarily suited, and the typical and traditional approach that Gavino Sanna, owner and founder of the winery, wanted to create. The white and minimalist headquarters of the winery stands out on the hills overlooking Porto Pino. Inside, tradition takes over and natural rhythms reign. In fact, the pumps are banned and all the wine produced is decanted using the natural fall, in order not to create a shock to a matter so noble and delicate. At the end of the maturation and refinement process there is another surprise to wait for the wine: a bottle with an attractive and modern design that is based on the ancient traditions of the island. The bottles of Mesa wines were in fact designed and designed with the purpose of representing Sardinia. The dark color recalls the austere dignity of Sardinian women, bearers of the values ​​of a land so rich. At the neck of these "women" there are small "cameos", minimal labels that reproduce the traditional Sardinian tapestries .
