與往年一樣,葡萄在清晨涼爽時分採收。經過壓榨、常規的澄清和攪拌過程後,果汁在不銹鋼罐中發酵。在發酵過程中,每天都會品嚐葡萄酒,直到達到理想的殘糖水平,然後迅速停止發酵。

The Allan Scott Family Winemakers' vineyards are primarily planted on the stony, well-draining river flats of the mid-Wairau Valley. The vineyards are sustainably managed, and with the meticulous care given during the growing season, they produce some of the world's finest wines.

The 2022 grape growing season was a completely new "normal" for many Marlborough vineyards. Despite the challenges of steady and sometimes heavy rainfall throughout the season, the winery team drew upon their years of accumulated cultivation experience and exceptional skill to ensure the grapes grew to a high standard. The winery's meticulous vineyard management and nearly daily fruit assessments allowed the grapes to fully realize their potential. You can expect this wine to exhibit all the beloved aromas and flavors that Marlborough Riesling is known for.

As in previous years, the grapes were harvested in the cool early morning hours. After pressing and the standard settling and racking processes, the juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks. During fermentation, the wine was tasted daily until the desired residual sugar level was reached, at which point fermentation was promptly halted.

This wine exudes aromas of juicy pineapple and lime, beautifully balanced with hints of nectarine and honeysuckle. The acidity and minerality create a crisp and refreshing mouthfeel, with a long, lingering finish.
